StreamRated

Everywhere else ranks you by how big you already are.

StreamRated ranks you by what viewers said about watching you. Your profile already exists; claiming it is how you get to answer them.

The first rung is missing

Directories sort by concurrent viewers. At thirty viewers you are below the fold, and the only way up the list is to already be up it. Here the default order is the rating, so a channel with forty reviews at 4.8 sits above one with six at 3.9, whatever the viewer counts say.

Tags nobody can award themselves

Platform tags are self-declared, so every channel is chill and educational and none of it means anything. Ours are chosen by the people who watched: funny, great chat, reliable schedule. “Funny, according to forty people who watch him” is a claim you cannot make anywhere else.

A number that is not your viewer count

You have one number describing you and it is the one that makes you look small. A score out of five, with the reviews behind it, goes in a panel, an overlay, a sponsor email or a tournament application. And chat cannot tell you why someone left, because they are not in it. Reviews can.

Checking your account…

Two ways to prove it is you

Log in with the channel’s own Twitch or Kick account and it is instant. Otherwise we give you a short code to put in your bio and check for it within 15 minutes.

Optional: badge and overlay

A badge image for panels and bios, and an OBS overlay. Both link to your reviews and need no account.

The first 100

The first 100 channels to verify a claim are Founding Streamers. It is a permanent mark on your profile, it is never reopened, and it cannot be bought afterwards at any price. That is the entire point of it.

It also means something now rather than later: you are among the first people using this, so the tag list, the review form and the dashboard get shaped by what you tell us is wrong with them. Reply to any email we send and it reaches the person who built the thing.

What nobody can do

You cannot delete, hide or reorder reviews, and you cannot pay to change your score. Neither can we. If a review breaks the guidelines you can flag it like any other reader, and if it is unlawful you can file a complaint, which a person assesses within seven days.

Every review is read by a moderator before it appears, and scores use a weighted average that damps small numbers of reviews, so a single angry viewer cannot tank you. How scores work
